Discover the stories of people who lived where you do - whose lives were changed forever in an instant.
The workshop introduces students and pupils to the history of Moravian Jewish communities through real human fates: Max Mannheimer, Lieselotte Teltscher, Albert Schön and Kurt Ticho.
Participants with the help of period photographs, written documents, video memories and online databases explore individual life stories and specific Moravian localities. At the end, they present their findings to the other students - they become researchers for a while, discovering history through authentic sources.
