She was a member of the International League of Women for Peace and Freedom, and was active in helping refugees from Germany and Austria. Via Nansen's help, she and her sons made their way to Norway, but this refuge soon became the target of Nazi occupation. She was imprisoned, deported and murdered. Lecture by doc.
