After studying in Brno and Vienna, he worked as an independent architect. He is best known for his modernised commercial portals, shop and apartment interiors, as well as villas and multifunctional houses. He is also the author of drawings depicting everyday life in Terez\u00edn. Troller also survived Auschwitz and emigrated to the USA in 1948, where he continued his successful architectural career.
