The name Otte Wallisch is not known to many people in the Czech lands. This Znojmo native is an internationally renowned Israeli graphic designer who has created almost seven thousand graphic designs in his lifetime. That is why we decided to commemorate his work symbolically on his 120th birthday in the Czech Republic. For our market he created, for example, advertising posters for Auto Praga or posters highlighting Czech films. In addition to these, the exhibition will also include the first Israeli stamps, coins and books in which he contributed graphically. The exhibition Otte Wallish: From Znojmo to Tel Aviv by Eva Jan\u00e1\u010dov\u00e1 is symbolically presented by the Jewish Museum Mal\u00fd Mehrin on the occasion of Otte Wallish's 120th birthday. Come and meet the artist who linked the modern avant-garde with the birth of a new state. You will see dozens of his posters, advertisements and designs that he created up to the 1970s. His work is not just art, it is a chronicle of an extraordinary journey.
