The name Andrew Keen from Haifa, Israel, combines two activities - the Memorial Scrolls Trust in London and the promotion of small Israeli companies around the world. And we will have the unique opportunity to welcome him here. He will be presenting as its trustee the present day organisation and museum of the Memorial Scrolls Trust based in Westminster Synagogue. It looks after 1,564 Torah scrolls that came from the Nazi seizure of Jewish property and were sold by our state to the UK in 1964 for hard currency. He doesn't fail to bring the produce of small Israeli businesses to life and, as he says, his mission is to showcase the soul and spirit of Israel through products that are as unique as the stories of those who create them.
